Madhya Pradesh / Gwalior : Approval for the formation of a trust for the memorial of Atal Bihari in Gwalior
Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the former Prime Minister of the country, has a deep connection with Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, that is why the state government is going to build an Atal Bihari Vajpayee memorial here. For this, the state government has given approval for the construction of the memorial and the formation of an autonomous Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial Trust under the Department of Culture. In a virtual meeting of the Council of Ministers presided over by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, approval was given for the formation of the Memorial Trust. The purpose of this memorial is to make the new generation aware of the work and personality of Atal Bihari.
It has been told that through the Memorial Trust, necessary efforts will be made to spread awareness and sensitivity towards nation building and national development among the youth and youth. A grand statue of Vajpayee and his life character will be promoted through audio-visual media.
According to the plan of the government, well-organized public facilities will be developed around the statue site. Along with this, workshops, seminars, research, seminars, lectures etc. will be organized for conducting activities related to his philosophy of life.
Publication of literature related to Vajpayee and his philosophy of life in the memorial complex and establishment of e-library, study center for good governance and policy making, water body, canteen, park etc. will be developed in the campus from the point of view of tourism. Collection of films, creation of facilities such as visual-audio-multimedia, museums, open spaces and auditoriums etc. to spread awareness and sensitivity towards nation building and nation development, their intellectual sharpness, literary outlook and specially empowered in Parliament. Attendance will be displayed as a key dimension.
For the fulfillment of the objectives of the Trust, implementation will be done by establishing contact, coordination and cooperation with the Government of India, State Government, non-government institutions, organizations, national and international level bodies and individuals.
