Spain volcano eruption : Hundreds of people evacuated to safer places
About 700 to 800 people have been evacuated from the affected area due to the volcanic eruption on Spain’s La Palma island. The local emergency department has given this information.
Earlier, about 6,000 people have been evacuated to safer places due to the volcanic eruption on the island.
About 1,281 buildings have been damaged by lava emanating from the volcanic eruption.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said he would make another visit to La Palma on Wednesday. This will be his fourth visit to La Palma in three weeks.
