The agitation of the residents of IDPL Colony and Khand continued on the third day even in the rain. He demanded the inclusion of IDPL Colony, Krishnanagar Colony, Khand village in the Municipal Corporation. Said, the agitation will continue till the demand is not met. Even the weather can not become a hindrance in the movement.

On Sunday, under the banner of Jankalyan Samyukta Sangharsh Samiti, residents of IDPL Colony and Khand village took an umbrella in the rain and staged a sit-in near Gandhi Pillar at Triveni Ghat for the third day. Tej Kumar Sahni, president of the committee’s youth organization, said that due to the forest land and displaced area, people living in Krishna Nagar Colony, Khand village, IPL Colony are not getting the benefits of most of the government schemes for years. Despite the resolution being passed in the board meeting, Krishna Nagar Colony and IDPL have not been included in the municipal corporation yet. He said that the agitation would continue till the demand is met. The picketers included Dr. BN Tiwari, Vicky Rajbhar, Sadanand Rajbhar, Gulab Verma, Ayush Yadav, Manish Rajbhar, Suraj Maurya, Anshu Rajbhar, Vidhi Rajbhar, Aditya, Vinay Gupta etc.
