England beat New Zealand by 13 runs
Fast bowler Mark Wood (4/23) and leg-spinner Adil Rashid (3/18) bowled brilliantly as England beat New Zealand by 13 runs in their second warm-up match.
The England team, who came to bat after losing the toss, scored a challenging score of 163 for six in 20 overs, thanks to the brilliant innings of captain Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow and Sam Billings. In reply, New Zealand were all out for 150 in 19.2 overs and lost the match by 13 runs, although they were expected to lose by a huge margin at one point, but the lower order batsmen Ish Sodhi and Todd Astle batted brilliantly.
