Uttar Pradesh alert due to Kerala and Maharashtra CM Yogi issued order

In view of the rapidly increasing cases of corona in Kerala, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, surveillance and awareness campaign is being intensified in Uttar Pradesh. CM Yogi Aadityinath has given instructions to reactivate the monitoring committees and to search for suspected patients by doing door-to-door contact.

While reviewing, the CM said that the policy of rapid vaccination along with aggressive tracing, testing and rapid treatment has yielded good results in Uttar Pradesh. On April 30, there were 3,10,786 corona patients here, but due to continuous efforts, today this number is only 102, while 16,87,123 people have been cured of the infection. He said that apart from corona, dengue and diarrhea patients are also increasing in the state. In such a situation, monitoring committees should be activated to improve surveillance and identify patients and provide better treatment to all as per the need. The Chief Minister has also given instructions to make people aware about the essentiality of masks. Additional Chief Secretary, Health Amit Mohan Prasad told the Chief Minister that according to the latest situation, there is no Kovid patient in 38 districts, then only 01-01 patients are left in 21 districts. In the last 24 hours, 01 lakh 63 thousand 781 samples were tested, where, in only 10 districts, a total of 11 new patients were found, while 07 patients were also corona free. Expressing satisfaction over the better condition of UP as compared to other states of the country, the Chief Minister has given instructions to be careful about overcrowding in view of festivals.

UP remains on the first position in the nationwide status of Kovid test and vaccination. So far more than 12 crore 83 lakh vaccine doses have been applied here. More than 09 crore 71 lakh people have received the first dose of the vaccine. This is more than 66 percent of the total population of the state eligible for vaccination. Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of people receiving both doses of the vaccine. Here more than 03 crore 11 lakh people have taken both the doses of the vaccine. Aligarh, Auraiya, Badaun, Baghpat, Ballia, Bahraich, Bhadohi, Bijnor, Bulandshahr, Chitrakoot, Deoria, Etawah, Fatehpur, Firozabad, Gonda, Hamirpur, Hapur, Hardoi, Hathras, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Kanpur Dehat, Kasganj, Kushinagar, Lakhimpur There is not a single patient of Kovid left in Kheri, Maharajganj, Mahoba, Mainpuri, Pratapgarh, Rae Bareli, Rampur, Sant Kabirnagar, Shamli, Shravasti, Siddharthnagar, Sonbhadra, Sultanpur and Unnao. Today this district is free from covid infection.
