Bihar : 25 people died due to drinking poisonous liquor

There are reports of people dying after consuming spurious liquor in Bihar which is banned. Now 25 people have died due to drinking spurious liquor in Gopalganj and Bettiah districts. Seven people are ill in Mahmadpur village of Mahmadpur police station of the district. Eight people died on Wednesday. By Thursday morning, the number had risen to 25.

Meanwhile, Khan and Geology Minister Janak Ram arrived to meet the dead of the spurious liquor scandal. He met the family members and assured them of help. He said that liquor has been given as a conspiracy to defame the Bihar government. Strict action will be taken against the culprits of this case. The minister ordered the district administration to treat the sick people immediately.

Let us inform that the administration is calling the death suspicious, while the relatives and villagers of the deceased have said that the death was due to spurious liquor. On the other hand, in Bettiah, eight people lost their lives due to alcohol. Due to this, 25 have died in both the districts so far. SP Anand Kumar said that the case of suspicious death is being investigated. Post-mortem and SFL investigation of the dead bodies is being done. Only after the report comes, it will be known what caused the death.
