Hollywood film ‘Eternals’ can create history at the box office
Hollywood film Eternals is released on 5th November. There is a lot of hype about this film all over the world and it is believed that the film can earn tremendously in many countries of the world including India. Eternals is a Marvel superhero film set in the period after Avengers Endgame. 10 new superheroes have been introduced in the film.
According to trade experts, the earnings of Eternals on the first day are estimated to be $ 150 million or about Rs 1100 crore. According to Fandango, the Marvel Studios film has got the second best advance booking of the year. Eternals has also surpassed Marvel’s previous film Shang-Shi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Now only Black Widow is ahead of this film. In September, Shang Xi had a worldwide opening of $128 million, while Black Widow’s opening was $150 million. It is being said about Eternals that the film can surpass Black Widow’s earnings.
In Korea, the film has been released on Wednesday and is running in the first place. With $2.6 million, it is the second best opening during the pandemic. Now eyes are on its opening in Europe and India. The film has collected around 2 crore advance ticket sales in India.
Eternals is the 25th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For the first time 10 new superheroes will be seen in the film. In India, the film has been released in 6 languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Eternalus is an action-adventure film about a special group of heroes. These Heroes have been protecting the Earth since the beginning of humanity. This group is forced into action when several mysterious giant creatures emerge from history centuries later and attack Earth. These are called Deviants. No one knows how and why they came back.
The film stars Angelina Jolie, Salma Heck, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Gemma Chan, Richard Madden in pivotal roles. Eternals is directed by Chloe Zhao, who won the Academy Award for Best Director for her film Nomadland.
