Uttar Pradesh : Priyanka Gandhi came to meet Mayawati, expressed grief over the death of her mother

Congress General Secretary and UP in-charge Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached BSP supremo Mayawati’s residence in Delhi on Sunday and expressed her condolences on the death of her mother. Mayawati’s mother Ramrati died of cardiac arrest on Saturday. She was 92 years old and was keeping unwell for the past few days.

On Saturday, Mayawati left for New Delhi as soon as she received the news of her mother’s death. BSP National General Secretary Satish Chandra Mishra expressed deep grief while sharing the news of Ramrati’s demise on Twitter. He has told that the last rites will be performed on Sunday after the gathering of other family members. His body has been kept for the last glimpse at 3, Tyagaraja Marg, New Delhi.

Chief Minister Yogi, Hriday Narayan and Priyanka expressed grief
Many politicians including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit and Deputy Speaker Nitin Agarwal, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have expressed deep grief over the death of Mayawati’s mother. The Chief Minister has wished to give strength to the bereaved family members to bear the loss. BJP State President Swatantra Dev Singh and General Secretary Organization Sunil Bansal have also expressed grief.

When the information about the death became public, Priyanka Gandhi tweeted and said that the sad news of the death of Ramrati ji, mother of Bahujan Samaj Party National President and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mayawati, was received. May God give him a place at his feet and give courage to the family members to bear the pain in this hour of grief.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also expressed his condolences by tweeting. He said that the demise of Shrimati Ramrati ji, the revered Mataji of former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and National President of BSP, Mayawati, is extremely sad. May Lord Shri Ram grant the departed soul a place at his feet and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this unfathomable loss.
