Heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry; 10 people trapped in the river were rescued with the help of helicopter

Heavy rains have wreaked havoc in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry. Roads and houses are submerged in water. The roads are gone. To save the people, the Air Force and the rescue team have started rescue operation in many areas.
Its most intimidating photo has come from Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. Due to two consecutive days of rain, the Chitravati river here has been flooded. So 10 people got trapped in the strong current of water. Local MLA Prakash Reddy informed the Chief Minister about this. After this they were rescued with the help of Navy helicopter.
20 people washed away in the flood, 8 bodies found
Heavy rain continues to wreak havoc in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. According to the district collector, 20 villagers were washed away in the flood after the Annamayya dam collapsed. Out of these, the bodies of 8 have been found. 12 are still missing.
Heavy rain in Puducherry
The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of rain for 16 districts of Tamil Nadu including Chennai, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, Thiruvalluvar. Along with this, heavy rain has also been predicted in the nearby Union Territory of Puducherry. Holiday has been declared in 19 districts. Schools have been ordered to be closed.
9 killed in house collapse in Tamil Nadu
During this, a major accident happened in Tamil Nadu on Friday. In the Vellore city here, nine people died in the house collapse in the morning. The dead included 4 children and 4 women. Chief Minister MK Stalin has announced a grant of Rs 5 lakh each to the family of the deceased. Some districts of the state had also received heavy rains last week. The roads of the capital Chennai had also become ponds.
