A painful accident took place in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand on Friday. Here a vehicle fell into the ditch. Three women have died and three people have been seriously injured in the accident.
Passenger vehicle fell in a ditch near Dockyard
According to the information, a passenger vehicle going from Haldwani towards land fell into the gorge near the dockyard of Banspatan. In this accident, three women died on the spot, while three people were seriously injured.
On Friday morning, as soon as the information about the accident of the vehicle near Godigad bridge was received, Badinag police station in-charge Pratap Singh Negi reached the spot along with the soldiers. All the injured were rushed to Bedinag Hospital by ambulance and other government vehicles by the police team by conducting a relief-rescue operation.
Three killed, three seriously injured
Where doctors have declared Rashmi Chand wife Brijesh Chand, Geeta Chand wife Harish Chand resident Lejam Kouli Thal and Priyanka Chand daughter Bhagwan Chand resident Gaina Baraloo dead. While the driver Anil Kanyal resident of Thal, Chandan Singh Samant resident of Golakudi Tadigaon and Brijesh Chand resident Lejam Kouli are seriously injured. Their treatment is going on.
Car fell into river, youth died
At the same time, a car had rammed into the Alaknanda river late Wednesday night at Maldhaiya on the Badrinath National Highway in Srinagar. The car driver died in the accident. While there, his cousin was saved. He has been admitted to Base Hospital.
Around 12.30 pm on Wednesday night, a car fell into the Alaknanda river about 50 meters down in Maldhaiya between Ufalda and Sriyantra island. After the car fell into the river, Narsan Kalan, a resident of Akash Rathi, came out of Haridwar, splashing in it. He swam and climbed a stone on the bank of the river and started shouting for help.
Hearing his call, Aanchal Dairy resident Ashish informed the police. Water Police, SDRF, Fire Brigade and Kotwali Police reached the spot and pulled out the youth with the help of ropes.
Akash told that his uncle Narendra Rathi’s son Sandeep (23) was also in the car. Nothing was found of the car in the dark. On Thursday, after several hours of hard work, the car got into the river. Kotwali SSI Ranveer Ramola told that Sandeep’s body has been recovered inside the car. He was wearing a seat belt. He told that both the brothers had gone out from Haridwar for a walk with someone else’s car.
Driver dies after falling into Max ditch in Uttarkashi
Near Bongadi village on the Uttarkashi-Musticsaur motorway, a Max uncontrolled fell into a deep gorge, killing the driver. According to the information received, at around four o’clock on Friday evening, Bogadi resident driver Tara Singh Gusain (50) was returning to the village in his vehicle after leaving the village of Alethe at the wedding ceremony, that his vehicle was uncontrolled near Bongadi, one km ahead of Mustiksaur. Fell into a deep gorge about 100 meters below. Nearby villagers reached the spot on the information of the accident. Who pulled the injured driver Tara Singh out of the vehicle, but Tara Singh died on the way before he could be taken to the hospital.
