Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee files police complaint against Kangana Ranaut

The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has filed a police complaint against actress Kangana Ranaut for allegedly making objectionable remarks against the Sikh community on Instagram. According to the statement issued by the committee, a complaint against Ranaut has been lodged with the cyber cell of Mandir Marg police station. The committee says that in his recent post on social media, Ranaut has “deliberately” termed the farmers’ protest as a ‘Khalistani movement’. The statement said the actress used “objectionable and derogatory” language against the Sikh community.

According to the statement, “… the post was deliberately prepared and shared with criminal intent to hurt the sentiments of the Sikh community. Therefore, we request you to take cognizance of this complaint on priority and take strict legal action after registering the FIR.
