Europe is becoming the epicenter of Corona again
Europe has once again become the epicenter of the Coronavirus Pandemic. The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that European countries have reported the highest number of cases in a week for the first time since the start of the corona epidemic last week. During this, about 20 lakh cases were reported. About 27 thousand people also died. Corona cases are increasing again in Britain, China and America (COVID Cases in America). Amidst the increasing cases of COVID, America has tightened the rules. Emphasis is being laid on contact tracing and vaccination (Covid-19 Vaccination). On the other hand, a 20-day lockdown has been imposed from Monday after the corona cases were reported in Austria.
World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus has said that the recent death of 27 thousand people due to corona virus in Europe is a big matter. This is more than half of all COVID-19 deaths in the world in the last week. The countries of Europe are once again becoming the center of infection. In view of this, vaccination is being made mandatory in Germany. The government there has admitted that the fourth wave has arrived in the country. Whereas on the other hand the lockdown imposed in Austria will last for a maximum of 20 days, although it will be assessed after 10 days.
Ban on people going out unnecessarily in Austria
There will be a ban on people going out unnecessarily in Austria during the lockdown. Restaurants and most shops will remain closed. Large events will be cancelled. Schools and ‘day-care centers’ will remain open, but parents have been advised to keep children at home. Lockdown restrictions in Austria may be lifted on 13 December, but it is possible that restrictions will continue for those who have not been vaccinated.
Lockdown situation in America
The rapidly spreading delta variant of COVID-19 in the United States is causing a surge in cases. It has hit hard on the already shaky healthcare of the country. There is no shortage of vaccines in the country, but people’s avoidance of taking doses is also showing the direction of the corona epidemic. According to data compiled by the agency of the US Department of Health and Human Services, the surge of COVID-19 seen in many parts of the country is as bad as last November.
Warning about travel to Germany and Denmark
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Monday issued a warning regarding travel to Germany and Denmark. This advisory has been given regarding the increasing cases of corona infection. The CDC has advised ‘Level 4: Very High’ for travel to two European countries. Currently, the CDC has issued travel restrictions to 75 places around the world, mostly European countries. These include Austria, Britain, Belgium, Greece, Norway, Switzerland, Romania, Ireland and the Czech Republic.
Australia full vaccine ready to welcome people
On the other hand, Australia’s government is hoping that when the country further relaxes pandemic restrictions next week, two lakh foreign students and skilled workers who have completed vaccination will return to the country as soon as possible. They will not need to be in quarantine. Prime Minister Scott Morrison said that from December 1, students, skilled workers and passengers on working holidays will be allowed to disembark at Sydney and Melbourne airports without seeking exemption from the travel ban.
