Gold became cheaper, silver also became cheaper

Gold prices on Wednesday closed at Rs 46,613 per 10 grams with a loss of Rs 119 in the Delhi bullion market after the fall in the prices of precious metals in the international markets on Tuesday. HDFC Securities gave this information.

Due to this, gold had closed at Rs 46,732 per 10 grams in the previous trading session. Silver also declined by Rs 517 to Rs 61,671 per kg. Silver had closed at Rs 62,188 per kg in the previous trading session. In the international market, gold was trading higher at USD 1,794 an ounce, while silver remained stable at USD 23.66 an ounce.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Despite a fall in the rupee, spot gold of 24 carat in Delhi declined by Rs 119 in tandem with the fall in Comex (New York-based commodity exchange).”
