Uttarakhand : Cabinet approved 28 proposals including new sports policy of the state
A cabinet meeting was held at the state secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. A total of 30 proposals were brought in the meeting, out of which 28 were approved by the cabinet. The cabinet has approved the new sports policy in Uttarakhand on Tuesday. This will encourage the players. Along with this, the honorarium of Bhojanmata and PRD jawans has also been increased. With the implementation of sports policy, the players of the state will be encouraged to show their talent at the state, national and international level. In the sports policy, on the one hand, every year 2600 players across the state will be given a scholarship of two thousand rupees per month, on the other hand, physical and sports aptitude test will be implemented to identify the players from the age of eight. Government spokesperson Subodh Uniyal said. Told that with the increase in contribution for ration dealers, now the benefit of home stay scheme can be taken on leased land also. This will benefit both the sports and the players of the state.
