Uttar Pradesh : Mayawati got a big blow, another MLA left the party

Before the UP assembly elections, Mayawati’s party BSP is facing major setbacks. After Vandana Singh, another BSP MLA has left the party. Leader of BSP House and MLA from Mubarakpur in Azamgarh Shah Alam alias Guddu Jamali have said goodbye to BSP. He has also resigned from the post of MLA along with all the posts of BSP. Shah Alam has sent his resignation to Mayawati.

BSP MLA Shah Alam submitted his resignation to party chief Mayawati and said that “In the meeting with you on 21st November, I felt that you are not satisfied despite my devotion and sincerity towards the party. I do not want to be a burden on the party if my The leader is not satisfied with me or my work.”

Earlier on Wednesday, suspended Bahujan Samaj Party MLA Vandana Singh took the membership of the party at the Bharatiya Janata Party’s headquarters. It is worth mentioning that in 2017 Vandana Singh won the election on a BSP ticket from Sagdi assembly constituency of Azamgarh district, who was suspended from the party by BSP chief Mayawati during the Rajya Sabha elections. Vandana Singh’s husband former MLA Sarvesh Singh Sipu was shot dead in Jianpur town of Azamgarh district during the Samajwadi Party government. Vandana’s father-in-law Ram Pyare Singh was also the MLA of Sagadi and a cabinet minister in the Uttar Pradesh government.
