Uttarakhand / Dehradun : Two areas declared as containment zones in the capital Dehradun, these restrictions will remain, including movement shutdown
As the corona infection increases, two areas of Doon have been again declared as containment zones. On Wednesday, many positive cases of corona were reported in both the areas. According to the information, from the month of February till now, no Containment Zone was formed in the district regarding Corona. District Magistrate Dr. R Rajesh Kumar has issued an order to create two containment zones in the urban area in Doon.
Eight new corona patients were found in Uttarakhand on Thursday and 31 patients were discharged after treatment. Both the areas have been made Containment Zones after getting a corona virus infected person at Indira Gandhi National Academy’s Old Hostel FRI and G-2 B-19 Tibetan Colony Diklin, Sahastradhara Road, Kulhal.
He said that Deputy District Magistrate Sadar Manish Kumar has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting contact tracing and effective surveillance in the above areas. The Chief Medical Officer has been instructed to take samples of maximum people in these areas as well as regular monitoring. Movement of people in restricted areas will remain closed. In such a situation, the District Supply Officer has been directed to supply essential commodities and food items.
Instructions to take precautions in the markets
When the pace of Corona slowed down, the administration lost its focus on social distance in the district. The District Magistrate has once again appealed to the people to use masks while going to public places. He has also directed to follow the rule of social distance in markets and crowded places.
Eight new patients of corona
Eight new corona patients were found in Uttarakhand on Thursday and 31 patients were discharged after treatment. According to the bulletin of the Health Department, the maximum number of five new patients have been found in Dehradun district on Thursday. While one in Almora, one in Haridwar, one new patient has also been found in US city. Reports of about seven thousand samples came across the state, while around 7500 samples have been sent for examination. The infection rate in the state is 0.12 percent while the recovery rate of patients is 96 percent. On Thursday, more than 61 thousand people across the state have been given anti-corona vaccines.
