He said on this occasion that today is a very auspicious day. After seeing Mother Nanda, a different experience is felt.
Amit Joshi told that on November 21, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had visited Haridwar where he had announced a free pilgrimage scheme for the people of Uttarakhand. He said that on the lines of Delhi, now after the formation of the government in Uttarakhand, people will be provided free pilgrimage, which includes holy places like Ramlala, Ajmer Sharif and Kartarpur Sahib in Ayodhya. He further said that earlier Arvind Kejriwal, who was on his Dehradun tour, had announced to make Uttarakhand the spiritual capital and suggestions from the public were invited by the AAP for this through a portal.
Amit Joshi further said that AAP party has received many suggestions from the people of the state. Everyone is aware of the Chardhams but most people do not know about Swargarohini, Kanavashram or a Marg Pujari track leading to Kedarnath and Badrinath in ancient times. He said that if these places are also identified along with Chardham, then many employment opportunities can be created here, due to which the youth of this place can be prevented from migrating to an extent. Along with this, many temples like Kasar Devi, Jageshwar Dham, Chitai Golu Devta Temple, Garad Temple, Gananath, Kosi Katarmal, Syahidevi etc. will be identified in Almora, which will boost employment and tourism.
AAP state vice-president Amit Joshi further said that the Delhi government has taken an initiative to make all the elders in Delhi have the darshan of Ramlala, whose expenditure is borne by the government. We will start a similar scheme in Uttarakhand after the formation of our government so that our elders can easily visit these pilgrimage places at government expense. He said that 35 thousand people got the benefit of this scheme of Delhi government last year. Yesterday the same announcement of Arvind Kejriwal ji was started by our Chief Minister candidate Col Kothiyal ji from Haridwar. He told that from tomorrow, AAP workers will go door-to-door and start registering people and those who are willing to get the benefit of this scheme will be given tickets so that they can get the benefit of this scheme after the formation of the government.
