Silver prices fall sharply, gold also becomes cheaper
In the Indian bullion market, there has been a decline in the price of gold and silver in the last one week. While the price of gold remains below Rs.49 thousand per 10 grams, the price of silver has come down from Rs.65 thousand to Rs.63 thousand per kg. In the last one week, 24 carat gold of 999 purity has become cheaper by Rs 368 per 10 grams at the national level. While the price of silver of 999 purity has come down drastically by Rs 2217 per kg.
According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association, on the last day of the last trading session i.e. on the evening of November 22, gold was Rs 48834 per 10 grams, which has come to Rs 48466 on the last trading day November 27. Similarly, on the basis of purity, the prices of both gold and silver have fallen.
