Veteran journalist Vinod Dua passed away, received Padma Shri in 2008
Senior journalist Vinod Dua has passed away. He was 67 years old. Vinod Dua’s daughter Mallika confirmed his death and told the media that his father’s last rites would be performed on Sunday.
Mallika Dua shared a picture of her father and wrote that our fearless and extraordinary father, Vinod Dua has passed away. He lived a unique life, always speaking the truth while raising him to the pinnacle of journalism excellence for 42 years from the refugee colonies of Delhi. He is now in heaven with our mother, his lovely wife Chinna, where they will continue to sing, cook, travel for each other.
Dua was admitted to a hospital in Delhi. He also had a Kovid-19 infection earlier this year, when he spent several days in intensive care. Last week when he was admitted to the hospital due to post corono virus complications, his daughter Mallika also shared a health update.

Vinod Dua had been ill since the transition to the second wave of Corona. His wife was also infected with Vinod Dua, in which his wife died, while he was admitted to the hospital for the first time in April after the infection.
