Corona’s shadow on Pakistan’s series, 3 West Indies players positive on tour

Suddenly an alarm bell has rung for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Actually, these days West Indies cricket team has reached Pakistan tour. Here he has to play T20 and ODI series from 13 December. Just before that, 4 people including 3 players from West Indies have come to Corona positive. In such a situation, now the clouds of crisis have started hovering over the series.
This information was given by West Indies Cricket CEO Johnny Grave. He told that three players Sheldon Cottrell, Roston Chase and Kyle Meyers, who were included in the West Indies team, have been found positive. Apart from them, a non-coaching staff was also infected. After the report, all three players have been isolated from the T20 series.
Series will be as per schedule
Johnny Grave said that there is no threat to the team. So the tour will continue. He said that after coming to Pakistan, corona test was done as per protocol, in which 4 people have come positive. All have been kept in isolation. There will be no problem on the series, because the test of the rest of the players has come negative. The second test took place after reaching Karachi, in which all the other players have come negative.
Tour will not be canceled
He said that it is difficult to cancel the tour due to corona infection. The reason is also that most of our players have been living in the bio-bubble since the time of CPL. Only these three players got infected, which is sad. This will not affect our preparations. The team will also go for practice to prepare for the first match to be held on December 13. Full vaccine has been given to all the three infected players. They haven’t even shown any symptoms so far.
