Mob lynching law passed from Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, will it be possible to get justice for Tabrez’s wife

Mob Lynching Act has been passed by Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. On the fourth day of the winter session, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Alamgir Alam laid the Jharkhand (Prevention of Mob, Violence and Mob Lynching) Bill 2021 on the table of the House. The Jharkhand Legislative Assembly gave its approval on this.
After the passage of the bill regarding mob lynching in the Jharkhand Assembly, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that there is a need to change the law from time to time. Some actions are done by anti-social elements, which disturbs the peace and that is why the government is bringing this law, now people will be able to do their work fearlessly in their respective areas.
During the discussion on the bill, the BJP opposed the bill, accusing the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha of appeasement and went on a walkout creating a ruckus. Let us tell here that the minorities, tribals, women, Dalits and deprived communities are often in the hands of the mob in Jharkhand including the country. The news of people losing their lives keeps coming. The most talked about case in Jharkhand is that of Tabrez Ansari. Who lost his life at the hands of the mob. After that Tabrez’s wife kept wandering from door to door for justice, but till now his wife did not get justice. Let us inform that on the night of June 17, Tabrez Ansari is returning from his uncle’s house in Jamshedpur to Kadamdiha in Seraikela district. Meanwhile, villagers near Ghatidih village caught Tabrez on the charge of stealing a motorcycle and beat him up all night. During this, slogans of Jai Shri Ram and Jai Hanuman were raised. He was handed over to the police on the second day in a dying condition. He later died during treatment. It is also necessary to mention here that the echo of the Tabrez case went to the United Nations (UN), later Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed grief over this incident.
