Nevada lake waters completely dry, human skeletons, boats and vehicles unearthed

America is currently facing drought. The water level is decreasing. The water in Nevada’s Lake Mead is also decreasing rapidly. As the water dries, the surface of the lake Human remains and many such things have started to be found which were drowned in the lake years ago.

By water capacity, Lake Mead is the largest reservoir in the US, east of Las Vegas on the Nevada-Arizona state border. It was filled in 1937 after the Hoover Dam was built. With this, 20 million people get drinking water from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.

Earlier this month, that is, on May 1, the police found a barrel stuck in the mud in the receding waters of Lake Mead, in which a body was found. Only a week after this incident, rangers of the National Park Service received news of more human remains being found around the lake.

The temperature is increasing due to climate change. In such a situation, the water of Mead Lake is gradually decreasing for decades. The reservoir was only 38 per cent full by the end of April 2021. This year the water has reduced further, due to which the secrets buried in the depths of this lake have started coming out.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) says that looking at the body found in the barrel, it appears that he was shot and killed. It is estimated from the clothes and shoes that the man was murdered in the mid 70s or early 80s. However, the person could not be identified.
