BJP’s record victory in Rajasthan by-elections, Congress’s bail forfeited

BJP registered an unexpected record victory in the Bhinder Panchayat Samiti member by-election of Mewar’s famous Vallabhnagar assembly. Even the security of the Congress candidate who entered the electoral fray was forfeited. MLA Preeti campaigned for four days in support of Congress candidate. At the same time, the sympathy of his late brother Deputy Prime Minister Madan Meena for Janata Sena candidate Lalchand Meena did not work, then the election campaign of former MLA Randhir Singh Bhinder and Bhinder Panchayat Samiti President Harisingh Sonigra could not register victory, but on the other hand without MLA and The BJP of the former MLA, showing its strength, registered an unexpected victory.

Himmatsinh Jhala, who was the BJP candidate for the assembly elections, showed his stamina in the area by registering his first victory in the command of 7 months. After winning the election, there was a wave of happiness among the BJP workers and came out celebrating in the form of procession in Bhinder Nagar by bursting firecrackers.

BJP’s lead from first round itself, won by 513 votes
The counting of votes for the by-election of Bhinder Panchayat Samiti member seat Bhopakheda-Amarpura Khalsa took place at Bhairav Government Higher Secondary School from 9 am on Wednesday. The counting of votes, which started under the guidance of Returning Officer Ramesh Sirvi, ended in three rounds. In which in the first round BJP took lead by 181 votes, after that in the second round also BJP increased by 362 votes. After this, after the final round, BJP candidate Kalulal Meena registered a record victory by 513 votes. Out of total 3697 votes, BJP’s Kalulal Meena got 1797 votes, Janata Sena’s Lalchand Meena got 1284 votes, Congress’s Ruplal Meena got 576 votes and NOTA got 40 votes.

Congress candidate’s bail seized
Congress candidate Ruplal Meena’s deposit was forfeited in Bhopakheda-Amarpura Khalsa Panchayat Samiti member seat. A total of 3697 polling was held in this seat. In which the candidate had to get a total of 616 votes to save his deposit. But Congress’s Ruplal Meena got only 576 votes. Due to which the security of the Congress candidate was forfeited. Whereas Vallabhnagar MLA Preeti Shaktawat campaigned from house to house for 4 days for the Congress candidate. Apart from this, many senior Congress leaders campaigned but still could not save the bail.

Didn’t even sympathize for Janta Sena
Lalchand Meena, brother of late Madan Meena was fielded by Janata Sena as candidate in the by-election being held due to the death of Bhinder Panchayat Samiti Deputy President Madan Meena, but the sympathy of the late Madan Meena did not work and Lalchand Meena was second with 1284 votes. But had to stay. While many office bearers including former MLA Randhir Singh Bhinder, Bhinder Panchayat Samiti head Harisingh Sonigra had taken up the responsibility of campaigning for the Janata Sena candidate, but could not register a victory.

After registering BJP’s victory in the Panchayat Samiti member by-election, key officials under the leadership of BJP Assembly in-charge Himmatsinh Jhala reached the counting site to administer oath to the newly elected Panchayat Samiti member Kalulal Meena. Here returning officer Ramesh Sirvi gave a certificate to Kalulal Meena by administering the oath of office and secrecy. After this, outside the counting site, BJP workers welcomed Himmat Singh Jhala and Kalulal Meena by garlanding them. During this, the workers lifted the crown of victory by tying Himmat Singh’s head on his shoulders. From here BJP workers came out in a procession all over Bhinder Nagar and celebrated the victory.

Tomorrow will be the election of the Vice President
The election of the vacant seat of the vice-president of Bhinder Panchayat Samiti will be held in the Panchayat Samiti auditorium on Thursday, 12th May. For this, nomination papers are submitted from 10 am to 11 am, nomination scrutiny from 11 to 11.30 pm, withdrawal of nominations by 1 pm, election symbol allotment after 1 pm, voting from 3 pm to 5 pm, after which the counting process will be done.
