Uttarakhand : CM Dhami said these things including the recruitment of 1700 posts of police personnel and the proposal of reserve battalion in Gairsain
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the proposal of the Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) will be examined in the summer capital Gairsain. The government has received the proposal. He was addressing after inaugurating the administrative building of IRB (II) at Suddhowala.
On this occasion, he also laid the foundation stone of the second phase buildings. Dhami directed all the departments and executive agencies to pay special attention to the quality of construction works. He said that the Chardham Yatra is in full swing in Uttarakhand. In such a situation the role of the police is very important.
It is everyone’s responsibility to take a good message from Devbhoomi to the devotees coming from the country and the world. Uttarakhand is tourism state and police is our brand ambassador. The police will have to work diligently to realize the motto of friendship, service and security.
The Chief Minister directed the police officers to strictly follow the rules and take extra precautions. Asked to make maximum use of technology for smart policing. He said that special training should be done for the police personnel working in different branches like SOG, STF, Cyber Cell.
