The system of house tax and conversion was started online in the Municipal Corporation about two years ago. From depositing house tax to the beginning of the process of conversion online, people were relieved of not having to go to the corporation office. But, even within two years, this arrangement is limited to documents only. Yes, it is necessary that along with depositing house tax, many processes are being completed and filed online. But, even today people have to come to the corporation office due to non-availability of the facility of depositing tax sitting at the homes of the people.
The online site has been started for the application of birth-death certificate registration. So that you can apply from anywhere. However, applications are not shown on the site of the corporation office on application from outside. In such a situation, the certificates of those who apply from outside are not able to be made. Due to which the online system is proving to be only a phantasm. People are not getting the benefit of this.
With the introduction of the online system, it was felt that now you will be able to get the work done by applying online while sitting at home. But for the process of renaming, the Municipal Corporation had to go. Online facility is not available.

Even today one has to stand in line for the application of birth-death certificate. In many cities, this system has become completely online. But here the process has to be completed manually after waiting in line for hours.
