Lalkuan: The cases of illegal occupation on the land of Gaula Range of Terai Eastern Division are not taking its name to stop. On Friday, the team demolished the illegal construction while taking action in Bagjala and Indiranagar areas. From the foundation of the house to the huts, it was targeted. However, then the question arises as to whose support has been given to those who openly occupied the forest land adjacent to the population. This area is adjacent to railway encroachment land.
The team of Gaula Range under the leadership of Deputy Ranger Pramod Bisht on Friday bulldozer demolished three foundations related to house construction in Bagjala area. The occupier had encircled the iron angle deep ground. Such a case has come up here last week also. After this the team reached Indiranagar area. Here three huts on the forest land were removed.
The Forest Department is actively making claims to free its land from occupation. But the question arises that why these people are not booked under the Forest Act after demolishing the illegal construction. So that no one else would do such a dare. Earlier an under construction house in Bagjala was demolished. Even then no action was taken against the accused.
