Bihar : Control room of BPSC paper leak gang was in Patna, four including government employees and teachers arrested

The control room of the gang involved in the paper leak case of the 67th Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) was in a house in Lohanipur area under Kadamkuan police station in Patna. The investigation team of the Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) on Sunday busted the gang involved in the paper leak. The investigation team has also arrested four members of the gang. This included Rajesh Kumar (39 years) assistant in Agriculture Department, Krishna Mohan Singh (41 years), teacher at Desiri High School in Vaishali, Nishikant Kumar Rai (33 years) of Jagdev Path and Sudhir Kumar Singh (40 years) of Amba, Aurangabad. ) is included. Their role has also come to the fore in making it viral with the paper leak and providing the students with the solve question papers. On the spot of the arrested accused, the investigation team raided two places in Patna and recovered many state-of-the-art equipment including laptop, bluetooth, pen camera. These were used for irregularities in the BPSC exam. EOU ADG Nayar Hasnain Khan has confirmed the arrest of the four accused. He said that search is on for the mastermind and other accused in this case. Research continues.

Anand is a graduate from NIT Patna and is running this illegal business after getting an engineer’s degree. 2.92 lakh cash, passbooks of half a dozen bank accounts, large number of GPS and walkie-talkies have been recovered from the control room.

About 12 lakh rupees have been reported to be deposited in Anand’s bank accounts, which have been frozen.

The investigation team also raided the rented house of Agriculture Department assistant Rajesh Kumar, who was arrested in the paper leak case, in East Patel Nagar. One laptop, five pen drives, 16 earphones, two and a half dozen SIM cards of Vodafone, Uninar, Airtel and BSNL, printers of HP and bank accounts of Bank of India and State Bank of India have been found.

2.92 lakh with cash, six bank accounts, 152 GPS devices, 47 spy GPS devices, seven walkie-talkies, 10 GPS batteries, 11 USB cable connectors, five soldering devices, two Bluetooth-earphones. Apart from this, laptop battery, pen camera, metal detector, small tool kit, heat gun, glue electric gun, measurement tape etc. have been recovered.
