Uttarakhand / Kashipur : Youth dies in suspicious circumstances, fear of murder

The youth, who went to get cold water from the water cooler, died under suspicious circumstances. His body was found a few hours later lying in a pool of blood in a nearby plot. Police has started the investigations in the case. It is not yet clear whether it is a case of murder or an accident.
Brijmohan (31) son Shivcharan Singh, resident of Gopipura village of Halka number one of Kotwali area, used to work as a laborer in Hempur depot. The fridge in his house was bad for many days. Because of this, he used to go to get drinking water from the freezer installed nearby before having his meal in the evening. Around eight o’clock on Friday night, he had left the house with two bottles asking to bring water from the freezer, but he did not return home, on which the family members started searching for him. Late at around 12 o’clock in the night, he was found in a bloodied condition in an empty field near the freezer. He had bruises on the back of his head. The family took him to LD Bhatt Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. On information, police officials inspected the spot.

SP Chandramohan Singh said that the death of the youth is suspicious. It is not possible to say whether it is a case of murder or an accident. There are injury marks on the body of the young man. The exact cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem report comes.

It is learned that the young man had a love marriage with Preeti Kaur eight years ago. He has a son and a daughter.
