18-year-old freak in America killed 21 people by firing indiscriminately at school
There has been another firing incident in America. In the US state of Texas, an 18-year-old youth opened fire and killed 21 people. The attack took place at Robb Elementary School in Yuvalde on Tuesday afternoon US time. The shooting started at around 11:32 am. 18 students and 3 teachers were killed in the firing. A similar incident had come to the fore in the past too. Police officials told the media that they killed the attacker. This Texas school shooting is similar to the December 14, 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary High School in Newtown, Connecticut. Then a 20-year-old youth opened fire and killed 26 people. These included 20 children.

Preliminary police investigation revealed that the attacker was a high school student in Yuvalde itself. A photo of the killer has also surfaced. The attacker had reached the school in his vehicle. He had a handgun and a rifle. Texas Governor Greg Abbott has identified the attacker as Salvador Ramos. The attacker was a resident of Yuvalde. The police have got another shocking information. He had shot his grandmother before firing at school.

According to the 2020 census, 16,000 people live in Uvalde, where the school shooting happened on Tuesday. About 80 percent of their population is Hispanic.
