Uttar Pradesh : Big relief to SP leader Azam Khan from Supreme Court, no action will be taken against Jauhar University
SP leader Azam Khan has got a big relief from the Supreme Court regarding the possibility of sabotage in Jauhar University. The Supreme Court has said that at present there will be no government action in Jauhar University. The Supreme Court also stayed the Allahabad High Court’s decision on the condition of handing over 13.8 hectares of land to the DM as bail.
In the Supreme Court, a bench of Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice Bela Madhurya Trivedi said that the condition imposed by the Allahabad High Court for grant of bail is prima facie disproportionate. The Supreme Court has issued a notice in this regard and has also sought answers from the Uttar Pradesh government and the university administration.
