If the guidelines of the government are not followed, then action will be taken against the institute
Keeping in mind the interests of women’s safety in Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government said in its order, now no female employee will reach office after 7 pm and before 6 am to work in the office. If a woman employee has to be stopped under any special circumstances, then the institute will have to first take permission in writing, after that free vehicle will be provided to that woman. If any government or private institution is not found following these guidelines of the UP government, then the government will take action against it. If an institute stops a female employee after 7 pm or calls before 6 am and the female employee refuses to do so, then the institute cannot remove her.
Women can be called for night shift only after the written consent of the employee
While talking to the media, Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary Labor Suresh Chandra said that only after the written consent of the female employee, she can be called to the office after 7 pm or before 6 am. Whether or not to work even after these guidelines of the government will depend on the woman employee and not on the need of the company. For women who allow night shift in writing, the company will have to provide the vehicle from both the sides i.e. the pick and drop will have to be given to both the companies free of cost. If any female employee does not want to do night shift and is being called forcibly, then the government will take action against the company.
