Let us inform that earlier there was talk of convening the session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly in Gairsain, but due to the chaos spread after the crowd gathered in the Chardham Yatra, the government reconsidered it and now the Uttarakhand assembly session will be held from June 14 to 20. Will be convened in Dehradun assembly by June itself.
Earlier, the government had agreed to convene the assembly session from June 7 at the Vidhan Bhawan located in Bharadisain, the summer capital of Gairsain. Now the government is forced to reconsider in this regard. The major reason for this is being told to Chardham Yatra. Actually, when the Chardham Yatra, which was closed for two years due to Corona epidemic, started this time, a large number of devotees started arriving from all over the country. The condition is that in order to control the crowd, Chardham pilgrims are being asked to first register on the portal and then visit only after getting permission. Between the Chardham Yatra, the government has to reconsider the proposed assembly session in Gairsain from June 7 to 14. Police and administration officials related to travel arrangements are not considering the timing of the assembly session in Gairsain as appropriate.
In the meetings being held regarding the Chardham Yatra, emphasis is being laid on the relocation of the assembly session. Elections to the Rajya Sabha are to be held on June 10. This election is to be held in Dehradun instead of Gairsain. Earlier its notification has been issued. Keeping all these things in mind, both the time and place of the Uttarakhand assembly session has changed. Now the Uttarakhand assembly session will be convened in Dehradun from June 14 to June 20.
