In today’s trading, both Sensex and Nifty have closed on the red mark. The Sensex closed at 55,566.41, down by 359.33 points or 0.64% today, while the Nifty lost 76.85 points or 046% to close at the level of 16584.55.

In this, there has been more selling in the shares of bank and financial. Both the shares fell 1 per cent on the Nifty. At the same time, IT indices have also closed in the red mark. However, on the other hand, in today’s trading session, the auto index closed more than 1 per cent, metal index more than 1 per cent and realty index by 2 per cent. FMCG indices have also closed in the green mark, while pharma has closed in the red mark.

This morning the Sensex opened with a loss of 304 points at 55,622, while the Nifty also opened at 16,578 with a loss of 83 points.
