Uttar Pradesh / Ayodhya : Pregnant teacher brutally murdered in broad daylight

In Ayodhya, the body of a government teacher was found at her maternal home. Knife marks have been found in many places in the body of the teacher. However, the police say that we have not received any complaint. Police is checking CCTV cameras. At the time of the incident, 5 laborers were working on the roof of the house. The police is interrogating them.

Husband and mother were not at home

Supriya Verma was a teacher at Askaranpur Primary School in Avtar Nagar Colony of the city. Her husband Umesh is also a teacher in a school in Bikapur block. Supriya had come to her maternal home in Srirampuram. In the morning, the husband went to the ATM to withdraw money with her husband Umesh Supriya’s mother after having dinner. Supriya was alone at home.

Father’s friend first saw the dead body

Anurag Prajapati, a friend of Supriya’s father Suresh Verma, had come to her house for some work. He saw that the door was closed and the house light was not on. He called several times but got no response. So he went up to the house. In no time both Supriya’s husband and mother came back. When the light was lit, I saw Supriya lying on the sofa and bleeding. Supriya was rushed to the Medical College Darshan Nagar, where doctors said that she had died sometime back. Supriya also had several wounds on her neck and back.

Construction was going on in the house where Supriya was murdered. Five laborers were working on the roof. They did not even know about the incident. The workers told that they came to know about the incident when there was a scream in the house. Police is interrogating the workers. SSP Shailesh Pandey also reached the spot. Forensic team also collected evidence from the spot. It is being told that the jewelery of Supriya’s neck and ear is also missing.
