In the Azamgarh Lok Sabha by-election of Uttar Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party has put an end to all the speculations. According to the information received, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, who was a senior leader of the party. He has given his consent in the name of Balihari Babu’s son and SP leader Sushil Anand. It will be officially announced shortly. Till now, the discussion of the name of Akhilesh Yadav’s wife and former MP Dimple Yadav was going on in full swing for the by-elections being held on this seat.

After Akhilesh Yadav won the election from Karhal assembly seat of Mainpuri, he resigned from the post of Azamgarh Lok Sabha MP. For which by-election is to be held on Azamgarh seat. Along with this, by-election is also to be held on Rampur Lok Sabha seat. At the same time, Akhilesh has given a big blow to BSP by giving ticket to Sushil Anand. BSP has fielded Shah Alam alias Guddu Jamali from this seat. The BJP and the Congress have not yet announced a candidate for either of the seats.

Sushil Anand is the son of senior SP leader Balihari Babu. Balihari Babu had died due to illness in April last year. Due to which Sushil Anand is now handling his political legacy. According to the information, Sushil Anand was also seeking ticket from Mubarakpur seat of Azamgarh in the 2022 assembly elections, but due to some reason he could not get the ticket. But now SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has expressed confidence in Sushil Anand in Azamgarh Lok Sabha by-election.
