Big fall in gold and silver prices
In line with the global trend, gold fell by Rs 321 to Rs 51,270 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market on Monday. HDFC Securities gave this information. In the last trading session, gold had closed at Rs 51,591 per 10 grams.
Silver also declined by Rs 874 to Rs 60,745 per kg. Silver had closed at Rs 61,619 per kg in the previous trading session. In the international market, gold was trading with a loss at $ 1,858 an ounce. On the other hand, silver was steady at $21.54 an ounce.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Spot gold was down 0.70 per cent in Comex. Gold prices were under pressure due to the strengthening of the dollar and increased yields on bonds in the US.
