Uttarakhand : CM Dhami expressed his gratitude to PM Modi for “Agneepath”, said – this historic step will make the Indian Army the best in the world, the government will give priority to Agniveers in police recruitment
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami and BJP State President Shri Madan Kaushik have welcomed the ‘Agneepath’ scheme launched by the Government of India for the purpose of capable civilian and strong military capability. Talking to reporters at the BJP Headquarters, Chief Minister Shri Dhami and party State President Shri Kaushik expressed their gratitude by congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh for this historic step on behalf of the military-dominated state of Uttarakhand and its godlike people.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh for opening the gates of Indian Army to the youth through ‘Agneepath Yojana’. He said that along with strengthening India’s military strength through ‘Agneepath Yojana’, the skill and commitment of the youth will also improve significantly.
While talking to the media at the BJP State Office on Balveer Road on Tuesday, Mr. Dhami said that in the last few years, many major reforms have been seen in the Indian defense system. The decision taken to implement the Agneepath scheme will enable the youth of the country to serve in the army for four years. With this scheme, Agniveers will be prepared, the youth of the country will be able to join the Armed Forces. They will be trained with new technology and the country will get a high skill arm force.
The Chief Minister said that this historic decision has been taken with a view to make the Indian Army the best army in the world. The youth will be recruited in the army for four years, during which the Agniveers will get a good salary. After four years of army service, youth will be given other opportunities for future. Service fund package will be available after four years of service.
The Chief Minister said that under this scheme, the jawans who would leave after four years, the Uttarakhand government would give priority to such firefighters in the recruitment of police. 17 years 06 months to 21 years youth, 10/12th students will be able to apply. If an Agniveer dies during the service of the country, then his family members will get an amount of more than Rs 1 crore under the service fund along with interest, besides the salary of the remaining job will also be given. On the other hand, if Agniveer becomes disabled, then he will be given an amount of up to Rs 44 lakh, apart from the salary of the remaining job. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has always done the work of boosting the morale of the soldiers of the country. Granted approvals to many pending demands of soldiers. Today India has rapidly moved towards self-reliance in the field of defence.
In the press conference, BJP State President Shri Madan Kaushik told this plan to make the Indian Army the best army in the world as well as prepare a good and capable citizen of the future for the country. He told that after 10th and 12th, any youth can voluntarily join the army under this scheme. The experience gained by the youth during this time will prove to be very helpful in getting them progress in life. Thanking Rajnath Singh, he said that we used to hear about military training being given to civilians in foreign countries, but today the Modi government has shown it with strong will power.
