Uttarakhand : The name of the public on Friday and Saturday, the people getting full respect in Dhami Raj

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami is going to start a new campaign soon to monitor the development works in the state and to face the problems of the general public. CM will visit every district for two days every week. At present, the days of Friday and Saturday are being fixed for this. The bureaucracy also started preparations for the proposed migration program of the CM. ACS Radha Raturi has issued a guideline to all the DMs for the program of CM. This campaign is also being started with the intention of accelerating good governance, development works as well as directly connecting with the public. During this, the Chief Minister will also see the reality of development works. According to ACS Radha Raturi, the Chief Minister will have a weekly tour program in the near future. CM will go to the districts on Friday and Saturday as far as possible. During this, review meetings will be held with district level departments in every district. The Chief Minister will also interact with the students in the colleges.

Center to continue with GST compensation to Uttarakhand: Dhami

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and spoke on the issues related to Uttarakhand. During this, the CM requested that the GST compensation to Uttarakhand should be continued. Chief Minister Dhami made a courtesy call on the PM on Thursday. During this, Dhami informed him about the growth in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector in Uttarakhand. CM informed that Uttarakhand is emerging as a pharmaceutical hub. Out of the total medicines being manufactured in the country, 20 are being made in Uttarakhand. There are more than 300 pharmaceutical factories in the three major industrial areas of the state-Dehradun, Haridwar and Udhamsinghnagar in which more than one lakh people are working.

Dhami requested the Prime Minister to set up a branch of the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research in Uttarakhand.  Also said that the state government is ready to provide land for this.  The CM also requested to direct the concerned department to start air service from Airstrip in Pithoragarh, approve Manas Khand Mandir Mala Mission to connect the mythological temples of Kumaon.  The CM also invited the Prime Minister to visit the Mayawati Ashram near Lohaghat.
