Section 144 in Rajasthan for a month, curfew in entire Udaipur

The controversy surrounding Nupur Sharma’s rhetoric, which has been going on across the country for the last few days, took a bloody form in Udaipur. After the ruthless murder of Kanhaiyalal (45) son Rupji Teliyuk in broad daylight, Section 144 has been imposed for a month, issuing an alert in the whole of Rajasthan. Leaves of police and administrative officers have been canceled in the state. Internet has been suspended in all the districts for 24 hours. SIT has been constituted under the leadership of ATS IG Praful Kumar to investigate the incident.

8. Police caught both the accused Ghaus Mohammad son Rafiq Mohammad and Riyaz son Abdul Jabbar in Bhima of Rajsamand district, who were brought to Udaipur late in the night.

He issued a statement saying that there is no place for violence in Islam. Both the murderers who carried out the incident have challenged the Ganga-Jamni tehzeeb of the country. So they should be punished severely. Diwan said that no one has the right to spread violence, hatred and punish the innocent in the name of Islam.
