Uttar Pradesh : There will be master plan for 59 cities including Lucknow, Ballia, Gorakhpur, Ghaziabad, high buildings can be built by doing less land
59 cities of UP will have their master plan in August. Based on this, new projects will be sanctioned for construction. The development authority will pass the map only on the basis of this. The Housing Department has fixed a time limit for this. The urban population is increasing rapidly. Land is getting scarce in old cities. The new areas are mostly agricultural land. Due to this, there is a hindrance in the construction of the present situation. After the master plan is prepared, more tall buildings can be built on less land. Mixed land use i.e. commercial below and residential above will be allowed. Permission will also be given to do commercial activities on the land along the main road in densely populated areas. It is being made keeping in mind the population and needs of the year 2031. It is being prepared under the supervision of development authorities.
Disposal of objections and suggestions from 20 to 25 July
The development authorities have been directed that they will compulsorily dispose of the objections and suggestions on the basis of the exhibition put up between July 20 and 25. The final approval from the Development Authority Board will be done between July 25 and 31. After this, it will be sent to the Housing and Urban Planning Department between August 31 and 10, so that it can be finalized at the government level and allowed to be implemented. The Housing Department wants this to be allowed soon, so that they can pass the map on its basis and allow land use of the land.
