Uttar Pradesh : In Noida CBI and IT raids on officer who was CGM in NBCC, machines had to be ordered to count cash

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Income Tax Department (IT) have been raiding the house of former Chief General Manager (CGM) of National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) DK Mittal in Sector-19, Noida since Friday night. During this action, cash and jewelery worth crores of rupees have been recovered so far. At present, the team of CBI and Income Tax is engaged in the investigation.

According to the information, the house where CBI and IT raided, former NBCC CGM DK Mittal and his family lives there. Investigation teams have got a huge amount of cash from Mittal’s house. Apart from this, jewelery worth crores also recovered.  It has come to the fore.

According to Income Tax Department sources, the cash found from the spot is about 1.5 crore rupees, but the teams are still counting the notes.  Machines have also been called for counting notes.  It is being said that the family has claimed about the cash.  After which documents have been sought from the Mittal family regarding cash.

At the same time, CBI and IT are also interrogating the family of the former CGM. Also other documents are being checked. Electronic evidence is also being collected. It is believed that the raids have been done in connection with some old case related to NBCC, or after any other complaint.

Noida Police said that the raid was conducted by the CBI and the Income Tax Department in the house number A-182 of Sector 19. The local police was informed by the investigating agency on Friday evening. The police team is cooperating fully.
