Uttarakhand / Bageshwar : Upnal employees protested wearing PPE kit

100 days have been completed since the movement of Kovid sub-employees for the demand of extension of service. The employees, who have been agitating since April 1, expressed their displeasure over the non-fulfillment of the demand and demonstrated wearing PPE kits on Saturday.

For cooperation in the prevention of infection on behalf of the Health Department during the Kovid period, under NHM, Upal personnel were posted on various posts. The employees were laid off after two years of service on March 31. Angered by the termination of service, Upal employees are on agitation. Everyday employees sit on dharna in DM office premises. The employees say that even after serving with full devotion, injustice has been done to them. Due to the termination of service, they are facing unemployment and it has become difficult to meet the expenses of the family. Upal employees say that they are fighting for their rights. The agitation will continue till their demand is met. Sanjay Kanojia, Govind Singh Parihar, Suresh Chandra Pandey, Pooja Kanojia, Rita, Deepa Devi, Balwant Prasad etc. were present there.
