Uttarakhand: Dhami government is making bureaucracy accountable to the public – officers will be responsible for resolving public problems, will listen to public problems in the secretariat every Monday

On Monday, the officers in the Secretariat will listen to the complaints of the public. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had issued this order last month to solve the problems of the people of the state. Under this, CM Dhami had said that now the officers will be available to the public on Monday in the secretariat to solve the problems of the people.

Officers in any department will not be called for meeting on Monday, along with this, the Chief Minister had also directed that the system of passes should be simplified for the visitors coming to the Secretariat with their problems on Monday so that it can be easily accessed by the general public. Individuals can also meet the secretary of the concerned department to get their problems resolved.

Under these instructions of CM Dhami, Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has issued a mandate, in this mandate, all the officers have been clearly directed by issuing orders to be present in their office on Monday to listen to public problems. If there is no special reason, then the officers will be available for the whole day for the public, for which order their staff to get the secretariat admit card issued to the general public on the visitor slip, although it is also written in the letter that if Monday is a holiday. So there will be no hearing on that day.
