BCCI announces Indian women’s team, Harmanpreet will captain

Cricket has also been included in the Commonwealth Games. This time cricket matches in the Commonwealth Games will start from July 29. The first match in this is of Indian women’s team and Australia women’s team. The BCCI has announced the team for the Commonwealth Games 2022. Harmanpreet Kaur will captain the Indian team in this tournament. While Smriti Mandhana has been made the vice-captain.

The selection committee has given place to two wicket-keeper batsmen for this tournament. Along with Tanya Bhatia, Yashtika Bhatia has also been given a chance. At the same time, Shefali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Rajeshwari Gaikwad and Pooja are also part of the team. Harleen Deol and Sneh Rana are also part of the team.

Team India has been placed in Group A. His first match is against Australia, which will be played on 29 July in Birmingham. The second group match is against Pakistan. After this the third match will be played from Barbados.
