Dehradun :: Shri Badrinath – Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) President Ajendra Ajay met Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami today and congratulated him for the successful Chardham Yatra being conducted under his able leadership and gave the “Badri-Kedar” memento to the Chief Minister. also presented.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the State Government is committed to the continuous development of passenger facilities and is working in the spirit of “Atithi Devo Bhava” towards every tourist and pilgrimage coming to the State.
During the meeting with the Chief Minister, BKTC President Ajendra said that this year Chardham Yatra has set a new record under the able leadership and guidance of the Chief Minister. Better coordination was established between various departments and agencies related to the journey due to the monitoring of the travel arrangements by the Chief Minister. This made it easier to resolve the immediate difficulties. As a result, more than 1.25 million pilgrims have reached Chardham for darshan.
The Chief Minister asked the devotees to ensure the arrangements for darshan and worship in a more accessible and easy way in the Dhams. With this, according to the sentiments of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, he emphasized the need to make separate efforts for cleanliness etc. in the Dhams.
