Terrorist attack on team of security forces in Pulwama, one soldier martyred; Search operation continues
A soldier was martyred in a terrorist attack in South Kashmir’s Pulwama. A team of police and security forces was investigating at a checkpost in the Gongu crossing area here. Then the terrorists started firing on the patrol party. In this attack, Vinod Kumar, Assistant Sub Inspector of CRPF, was seriously injured. He was taken to the hospital where he died. Security forces have started a search operation in the entire area.
It is being told that ASI Vinod Kumar has been martyred in this attack. Five days ago, terrorists attacked the police team at the check post in Lal Bazar area of Srinagar. In this, ASI Mushtaq Ahmed of Jammu and Kashmir Police was martyred. This year 9 policemen have been martyred in terrorist attacks at different places.
On July 11, two terrorists were killed in Pulwama itself, including Jaish-e-Mohammed’s commander Kaiser Koka. Coca was wanted in many terrorist incidents. According to reports, 125 terrorists have been killed in Jammu and Kashmir this year. Of these, 34 terrorists were Pakistanis. In the month of June, 34 terrorists were killed.
