Punjab : Two sharp shooters killed in police encounter in Sidhu Moose Wala Murder case, four killed so far, DGP also reached the spot
Encounter between police and gangsters in Punjab’s Amritsar is over. Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala murder accused gangster Manpreet Mannu and Jagroop alias Roopa have been killed in a police encounter. This has been confirmed by ADGP Pramod Ban. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav has also reached the spot.

Police got information about the hiding of gangsters
The Punjab Police had received information that gangsters associated with the Sidhu Musewala murder case were hiding in the village. After this the police surrounded the village and started the operation. The gangsters opened fire on the police. In response, the police also opened fire.
Police personnel have surrounded the village from all sides. This village is located near Attari near the Pakistan border. Information is being received that gangsters are firing at the police with AK-47.
Information about the killing of two sharp shooters
According to police sources, two sharp shooters involved in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala were gunned down by the Punjab Police in an encounter. According to the information, the killers Jagroop Roopa and Mannu were hiding in Kusa village. When the Anti-Gangster Force got information about the hiding, the police surrounded the entire area. Meanwhile, an encounter broke out between the police and the gangsters.
The village reverberated with the sound of gunshots. Firing continues from both sides. About 100 rounds have been fired so far. Several senior police officers are present at the spot. It is being told that four people including two sharp shooters have died. The police have appealed to the villagers not to come out of their homes. Police has reached the encounter site with a convoy of dozens of vehicles. Ambulances and armored vehicles are also present at the scene.
Journalist also injured in encounter
A journalist has also been injured in the ongoing encounter between police and gangsters in Chicha Bhakna village. At the same time, an SHO Sukhbir Singh says that the operation is still going on. Nothing is yet clear about the accused persons whether they are gangsters or terrorists. The body of the slain accused has been brought to Amritsar. It is being told that a policeman is also injured.
