For the first time after becoming the Secretary-in-Charge, Dr. Rajesh Kumar reached Haridwar today to check the medical facilities at the Kanwar Mela. Problems faced by the people in the Kanwar Mela. He made surprise visits to the arrangements of doctors in the district hospital. He also solved many problems.
Talk to the Kanwariyas of the relief camp on the spot
In-charge Secretary Medical Health Dr. Rajesh Kumar spoke to the Kawadis present on the spot and discussed about the convenience and inconvenience being faced in the Kanwar Mela and then told that the Kanwariyas are mainly affected by fungal infections in this travel season. Apart from this, the snake bite incident which is happening mostly, in view of that, medicines have been arranged for the treatment of snake bite in the medical camp. Apart from this, arrangements have been made for medicines related to fungal infections.
Health department has set up 25 relief camps
Medical camps have been set up at 25 places all over the city of Haridwar, in which an average of 1000 people are taking advantage of the camp every day. 2000 people are taking treatment. The main camp has been set up at Har ki Paidi where all kinds of arrangements and team of specialist doctors are present.
District hospital also inspected
After a surprise inspection, R Rajesh Kumar also inspected the district hospital. During the inspection, he found that there is no arrangement for a surgeon, the secretary-in-charge has asked to appoint a surgeon there at the earliest. The secretary-in-charge has directed that wherever there is a problem with the doctors of the hospitals of Haridwar district, the list should be made available to the government at the earliest so that appropriate action can be taken.
24 hours ambulance service for critical patients
Where medical facilities are being provided to more and more devotees, the health department has also arranged for ambulances at the local level. On behalf of the state government, 24 hours ambulance is ready to take the Kanwariyas to the district hospital for treatment. He told that proper arrangement of medicines is present inside the ambulance, besides this ambulance has been prepared with oxygen and other equipment, the Kanwariyas are getting the facility of all types of medicines, which is being monitored by the Health Department.
Health of Kanwariyas the priority of the government
Secretary-in-Charge Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that the devotees coming from all over the country are welcome in Uttarakhand, we are determined towards their health, Uttarakhand Health Department and the state government are giving proper health and service to all the Kanwariyas. We are making this better. The Uttarakhand government is making efforts to make arrangements for medicines, ambulances and other important health services at every level.
