Uttarakhand / Dehradun : Big fake call center exposed by STF raid

Big Fake Call Center Revealed by STF Raids STF has taken major action in Dehradun. STF has unearthed a big fake call center running in the heart of the city. A huge amount was being collected from this call center by trapping people on antivirus, computer updates and many other technical things. It is known that crores of rupees have been cheated from this call center with many people mostly from countries outside India. The STF has also recovered cash worth Rs 1.5 crore from the spot.

The STF detained 14 people operating the call centre, including a woman. It is believed that the mastermind of this entire gang is this woman, who along with her team has so far carried out the fraud of crores of rupees.

Earlier, a call center of the same gang was also operating in Gurgaon, on which action was taken last year. This is the biggest crackdown on fake call centers of STF so far this year.
