Uttarakhand / Roorkee : Stopping the husband from intoxicating, the woman suffered heavy, the wife’s head was broken; daughter was also beaten up
In Bhangedi village, a woman was costly to stop her husband from taking drugs. The husband attacked the woman on the head with an iron rod. Along with this, the daughter was also beaten up. While providing treatment to the injured woman, a complaint has been lodged with the police.
The case of Bhangedi village of Ganganahar
A woman resident of Bhangedi village of Ganganahar Kotwali area has three children. The woman’s husband comes home after getting intoxicated every day, due to which she has a dispute with her husband. The woman alleges that the husband does not even give money for household expenses. On Friday, the husband took drugs inside the house.
Husband attacked with iron rod
When the woman came to know about this, she stopped doing so. There was a dispute between them regarding this. It is alleged that the husband got angry and beat up the woman. Not only this, when she raised noise, her husband attacked her with an iron rod. The woman was injured after being hit by an iron rod on her head.
Daughter was also beaten up
When her daughter came there to save her, the accused beat her up too. Neighbors reached the spot and somehow saved the woman and her daughter. After the incident, the woman was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Tahrir given to Kotwali police
The woman has given a complaint to the Civil Lines Kotwali police regarding this. Senior Sub Inspector of Civil Lines Kotwali Kedar Singh Chauhan said that the police will take further action after investigating the matter.
